I bought this grinder to replace another (different brand) that died after 2-3 years. I installed 300 square feet of engineered stone outside of our home and have been working on it for months, using it (literally) every weekend since I bought it, 4-5 hours a day. So far he's held up well. I chose this one because of the location of the power button and the dimensions of the "barrel" (handle area). I have normal sized hands (I wear L-XL gloves) and this model allows me to hold it in a natural working position and operate the controls with one hand. Other grinders have thicker cylinders or the power switch is on top of the cylinder making it very difficult to turn on/off and maintain control of the grinder with one hand. In general there are no complaints and if it is the same as my other Bosch branded tools it will last a long time.
