The only true. on blades

Original Bosch blades. They last much, much longer than aftermarket blades that cost half the price, but I use 8 or 10 of these in metal work days. Or I can use one or two of these. Excellent blades.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • So-so

Excellent blade for steel

I used this for 1/4" sheet steel and found it to be MUCH easier to use than any other blade I've found. I took some similar blades from Freud but those teeth just bent What a disappointment and I'm a HUGE fan of Diablo for the hacksaw and circular saw.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • A few minor things

Works great: saw blades, parts and accessories

I've been to 3 hardware stores and none had the fine toothed blades I needed to cut very thin sheet metal. I found her at Revain. I'm happy to report that they are great for cutting 20 gauge 304 stainless steel (hard stuff) and should work for cutting titanium too.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in white

BOSCH is the best among saw blades, parts and accessories

My opinion: BOSCH blades are the best jigsaw blades. You pay a little more, but they cut better, last longer, cleaner, and more precisely than any other jigsaw blade. This batch I bought did not disappoint. Sometimes I buy cheap blades, so I always compare BOSCH blades with cheaper and other well-known brands. BOSCH has always been better for me.

  • Weight
Cons
  • No power

Cut the aluminum guides. but slow

Never used but bought based on reviews for cutting aluminum. They do. However, you must do it slowly. The blade I used had no visible damage when cutting 1.5" x 3/4" aluminum rail, so I was very happy to see that. Haven't tried them on wood yet, but if they handle aluminum there shouldn't be a problem with wood. Plan to use them on a puzzle table.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • Something else

This is the BEST for cutting thick metals!

After looking at and trying almost everything in large hardware stores, I decided to try it. and they are the best. I needed good blades to cut 3/8" thick steel. Everything else I've tried dies fast. I'd go through a whole pack of three and barely go more than an inch. However, with them I still have the first one Blade. Installed on my saw and I cut at least 10". So happy!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Great Blades! - Jigsaw Blades

These saw blades are great for metal. I handle them a little roughly (cutting 1/8" and 1/4" carbon steel). They are well suited for roughing the shape, but due to their width do not allow cuts with small radii. They actually last longer than me, although they would. Don't use them on harder steel (tool steel or stainless steel), they're not hard enough and you'll gnaw through them in less than an inch. It saves me tons of time with a hacksaw. All in all a great product!

Pros
  • Great Product
Cons
  • All Fine

Bosch T118EFS 3-1/4 " 18TPI, T-Shank Jigsaw Blades

as well as many low carbon base metals. When cutting aluminum, use low speed and some wax to prevent the Blade loaded - don't think they can replace a plasma cutter or oxygen/acetylene where that is required - price is very fair, they will last a long time if used and not abused - thanks to Revain for price, availability and shipping to Land's End and thanks to everyone who takes the time to review articles. They work but are a bit slow. For the money, however, it's hard to beat.

If you need to cut yourself a little and you are not in a hurry, these blades will come to your rescue. A few things: #1. I had to sand about 1/4 inch from the end and burrs. My very old but still working Craftsman puzzle was moving the blade away from the material. It got me ahead when there were no teeth. Shortening the blade allowed me to keep the teeth fully engaged no matter where the saw was in its journey. #2. I had to file off the small wings on the blade. Again due to my very old…
