This bit worked very well for digging pilot holes for concrete screws in the brick exterior of my house. I've drilled four holes and the drill is already starting to slow down a bit. I think that's just part of drilling a solid wall, not the drill's fault. I'd say if you drill more than five holes you might want to get more than one.
This is an excellent drill bit. I used it with a hole punch to attach landscape lights to a large rock I have in my driveway. I'm not sure what kind of stone it is but I've been told it might be a blue stone so it's very hard. To attach these lights you need to drill 3 holes in the rock. For the first two lights I used 2 Tapcon drill bits and 2 cheaper Bosch carbide drill bits I had in my tool box. All 4 broke easily.
