Description of 🎧 Bose Proflight Series 2 Aviation Headset with Bluetooth & XLR Cable, Black - Premium Comfort & Connectivity

Proflight Series 2 includes a thinner, lighter and more flexible cable, updated tap control for talk-through communication, and an easily adjustable mic. Engineered for pilots of moderately noisy, pressurized Turbine-powered aircraft – built upon the technology of the original proflight. The smallest, lightest, most comfortable Bose aviation headset. Innovative design and 4. 5 ounce (128 gram) on-head weight keep pilots comfortable, even during extended flights. Digital active noise cancellation reduces noise so users can lower radio volume and hear what they need to hear.

The idea is good but the reality is not very

Very uncomfortable headphones. Tried all three sizes, nothing helped. They kept falling out of my ears. It also sounded like I was talking in a tin can or like I had a sinus congestion. Tried several planes. I wanted to like her but I couldn't.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No performance

Depends on what you need.

B777 had no problems (A20 had constant parasitic noise). Not necessarily for the B787 (it's quiet in the cockpit). Compared to A20; there's almost no passive noise-cancellation, while in the A20 it does almost 60 per cent of the job. The A20 was heavy and caused neck pain on long-haul flights, but forget about the Prolight II on your head. Rocking the headphones and putting them in the case is a problem. be resolved.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Several bugs

Additional information about the headset

I have been using this headset on B777 aircraft for a month. Very light, I use it on long flights. Many people have long spoken about discomfort in headphones, this was not my case. The headset will not fall when you move your head. The noise canceling is really good, the B777 is quite loud. So that helps a lot. The 5 pin XLR connector is ideal, no battery required. The hard case is a bit big, but there is no way to make it smaller. You can switch the microphone from left to right. Very good…

good but not for everyone

I want to upgrade my headset and decided to give it a try. Bose is known for its excellent sound quality, which in this case lives up to its name. I liked most of the features it came with. Radio calls were clear and distinct. Bluetooth was good when I had to call maintenance at the gate. Tap-through wasn't particularly useful, as it was just as easy to pick up the phone, and the flight attendant gave me a funny look as she sat and tapped my ear. The only issue I have with this headset is the…
