Love the gun - my new review

Love the gun , best I've had or tried, only problem is that the nails are different from all other angled finish nails, which are expensive and not available in bulk or easy to find

Pros
  • Has some useless features but overall a great product.
Cons
  • Requires an air compressor

I was amazed at how light this was. We used it to install a hardwood floor and it shot the 2" nails very easily. It came with several rubber tips and one of them fit the hardwood floor tongue very well.

Pros
  • This nailer creates a professional-quality finish every time, ensuring that your projects always look their best
Cons
  • Prolonged use can cause discomfort

Missing items in product case.

The nailer works great, very happy. Product description states that sample nail clips were supposed to be in with gun. Disappointed that they were not there. Would have been nice to try and use different sizes.

Pros
  • Best finish nailer in my view. Previous one of same model performed flawlessly for me
Cons
  • Difficult to use

Would not work right out of box.

Gun would not feed One nail then would not feed. Went thru all steps in guide book and called customer service. Item returned. This is just a string of problems with Bostitch. I purchased this item because of the price. Won't make that mistake again. I am through with Bostitch.I have several of their brad nailers. Have had issue with pistons on all of them. In the past I could purchase parts and repair. Have one that is 3 years old and parts are discontinued.

Pros
  • The BOSTITCH Angled Finish Nailer is incredibly powerful, making it easy to complete even the toughest jobs
Cons
  • Can misfire frequently

I've used this product for years to install window and .

I've used this product for years to install window and door trim and have never had a problem with it. I use a small pancake style air compressor, which supplies more than enough power to sink a nail into thick wood. The light stopped working after about a year. I never used the light. I suppose all I have to do is replace the battery or purchase another light assembly from Bostitch.

Pros
  • This pneumatic nailer is the world's first 15GA tool with ultra-quiet rear exhaust to direct air away from the user
Cons
  • No depth adjustment option

A well made product.

This is the second one of these that I have bought and both have worked flawlessly I'm thoroughly sold on this finish nail gun it works and it works very well. The weight and balance are so much better than other finish nail guns that I have used over the years.

Pros
  • The BOSTITCH Angled Finish Nailer is incredibly easy to use, thanks to its intuitive controls and ergonomic design
Cons
  • Can damage the surrounding area

Great nailer. in my review

I purchased this long ago when I moved into my current home for various remodel projects and 9 years and countless jobs later it still works like a charm without a single issue. I have never used anything but Bostitch nails with it and have yet to experience any feed problems. It is very light, well built, and an investment you wont regret.

Pros
  • very good
Cons
  • Creates a lot of debris

the new model62 good for me

First off I'm a finish carpenter and use one every day. I gave the older series 62 5 stars but the newer model stinks! One of mine went down and had to get a backup locally. The newer model has lots of frills that I don't need or want! Worst of all you can't nail into an inside corner of base or crown and set the nail. The new nosepiece design only allows nails to be set with the trip held square to the work piece. It's made now to draw homeowners instead of craftsmen? Big mistake on Bostitch's

Pros
  • Item met expectation and received in a timely manner. Thank you.
Cons
  • High maintenance costs
