Bright and seems to last forever!

Good quality, it's been a few years and they still work outdoors in the elements. I actually gave the kids one of my friends to carry their backpack while waiting to be seen on the bus in the morning and the other two were on my kayak. I don't kayak at night, I'm just a fanatic lol. Got a lot of supplements to them. They are bright and can be seen on a sunny day.

Bright but difficult to assemble

I ordered these lights for my kayak so I can swim more in the evenings. They are very light but frankly the mounting technique is terrible, they don't let them stand up and I had to keep adjusting them so other boats could see me. If I had something to offer the company it would be to mount these lights on a clip or something that attaches to the side of the kayak.

Waterproof is best for rowing

They're waterproof at best, but for the price they did what I wanted them to do, paddleboard at sunset on Biscayne Bay. They were on all the time and even let me see into the water if I turned off the light. I've seen someone else use them on their kayak and they seemed to like them, but the salt water ended up causing one of mine to act that way. Good for the price if you know what you are getting.

Water resistance is the best in the sport

Not waterproof but otherwise OK

Definitely not waterproof. I put them on the front of my kayak where my paddle occasionally dripped onto them and after one use there was water inside and the ability to turn the lights on and off was erratic. After I dried it, it still worked. You will see gaps for water to enter. I'll try to seal them with some kind of sealant to make them more waterproof. The light output is pretty good. The on and off switch is easy to use.
