Great solar panel - my new review

Installed on my trailer roof to charge my LiFePO4 batteries (2x 100A/H paralleled). In direct Mesa, AZ sun I need nothing else to keep the batteries charged even when I'm camping (including using 1500W inverter for some toaster and microwave use).Highly recommended; note there can be delivery delays if not in stock due to being shipped by cargo ship from China.

Pros
  • Reduces dependence on traditional energy sources, saving money and resources
Cons
  • May not work well in extreme temperatures, either very hot or very cold

Solid, good output on my review.

Well built. MC4 connectors built in make install easy. This is a lot of power for a solar panel. My readings match the manufacturer's. Holding up well on a mountaintop in Montana.

Pros
  • Llego a tiempo, completo y funciona fenomenal. Gracias.
Cons
  • Some customers report difficulty with installation and wiring

Ready for hurricane season!

This is the first time I've purchased solar panels. On an overcast day they charged 2/5th's of my Bluetti 1500 generator. They were easy to hook up using BougeRV Solar Branch Y-connectors. So far I'm pleased and think this is a great addition to my hurricane preparedness equipment.

Pros
  • Utilizes monocrystalline solar cells, known for their high efficiency
Cons
  • Lacks any built-in safety features or overload protection

Easy to hook up but Pecron does not respond to panels. Non-attended customer service and no response to phone messages and/or emails.

Pros
  • Added this panel to my array and caught it on a great buy
Cons
  • Can't get more than 103 watts - multiple days - all the same results. 10 gauge wire on a 6 foot run.

Got a Plastic table instead of a solar panel

I originally ordered 6 panels two were damaged the frames, but the box was not. Since then I have ordered 4 replacements all came in damaged and bought 1 other which was damaged. I got 2 replacements yesterday one was damaged and the other was a plastic table not a solar panel GO FIGURE!.The panels seem to be good panels it's just very hard to get them in good condition. If I was willing to accept bent frames and some smash on the side and corners bent, I would just order used panels at 1/4 the

Pros
  • Comes with a generous warranty for added peace of mind
Cons
  • Not as durable in salty marine environments as advertised

Well constructed on my review.

Bought for my RV. Mounted this unit flat on the roof of my RV and it still manages to put out over 7 amps on a good day. Would put out more if it was mounted directly at the sun .

Pros
  • the best
Cons
  • May not hold up well in extreme weather conditions

Very Good Product and Great Company

I bought four 12V 180 watt panels. Had an issue with one of them. I contacted the company and they replaced the panel right away! Highly recommend these.

Cons
  • Can take up a lot of space on an RV or boat

Strong performer on my review.

I bought a couple of these and simply stood them up next to my rv. On a sunny day they will generate in excess of rated wattage. Very solid performers and very well built.

Pros
  • Great panel. Does what it supposed to. Came packaged well.
Cons
  • High initial cost may not be worth the long-term savings for some customers

Well built sun comes up panels start changing. Getting good charge on cloudy day very impressive. Much better then other panels I’ve owned before. I will be getting two more.

Pros
  • Provides a cost-effective way to generate renewable energy
Cons
  • Some customers report difficulty finding compatible accessories or add-ons

Is it worth it? on my review.

Well this is my first time getting into solar. I got this, and a MC4 to 8mm adapter, and WindyNation 10 Gauge 10 AWG 30ft. It came in AWESOME packaging and was very easy to set everything up. I have two power stations, a Blackfire 546w and a Jackery 240 for my son. Right now I'm only charging at 8watts. I'll keep you all updated from time to time and let you know how its going.3-28-19 updateOk I want to update it to 4 stars instead of 3 now that I had time to play around with it some more and…

Pros
  • Sleek and modern design, making it a stylish addition to any outdoor space
Cons
  • Fairly heavy and difficult to move around once installed

Nice panels best in my review

Very happy with my 5BB panels that I purchased but imo get the 9BB panels because they will put out much more power than the first ones that I bought

Pros
  • Works great
Cons
  • No integrated battery storage available

Well made solar panel (180 watt 5bb)

Solid construction compared to other brands of solar panels I have purchased (Renogy, HQST, Acopower). I'm not sure of the purpose, but I found a copious amount of sealant or maybe thermal paste inside the junction box, which I've not seen in my other panels. Hooked it up to a Bluetti PS70 and saw up to 153 watts when the sun poked through the clouds on a late morning in December - that is excellent output for a 180 watt panel and I'm looking forward to seeing how well it performs in the warmer

Pros
  • Can be used to power a variety of devices, from small electronics to large appliances
Cons
  • May not be covered by insurance or warranty in case of damage or theft

Everything as advertised

Have not had much time to use the product but tested a few times under winter sun within 1 1/2 hour from sunset and was still able to generate around 138-143 watts. Cant wait to take it camping during summer months with my Max Oak 1500. The only complaint i have is it is a bit large and has some weight to it so it may be a little cumbersome to lug around inside my Teardrop T@b, but quite happy with it so far and i think it will do a great job charging my Max Oak.

Pros
  • Lightweight and easy to install, making it a great choice for DIY enthusiasts
Cons
  • Can make noise in high winds or strong gusts

Boxing good Quality control is in question

I received the solar panel in A very good box designed to protect the panel. And the box had no damage on the outside. After unpacking the box and examining the solar panel there is a major gouge on the backside of the solar panel. Since the box was in good shape it must be quality control from factory. Solar panels seem well-built.********************************************************************************************************************************UPDATE: Shortly after I received my…

Pros
  • Eco-friendly, producing zero emissions during operation
Cons
  • Can take a long time to charge batteries full in some conditions

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well built. Higher quality

Produces peak power at correct angle to sun in summer,-165+ one panel. Now sep 21 shorter days less light same panel -130watts for about four hrs. 1st two hrs(-50), next hr (-100) then peak. Clean carefully do not scratch or abrade cleaning surfaces.

Pros
  • Compact Design, More Power
Cons
  • Not as durable as some other solar panel brands

Love these in my review

I absolutely love the quality and the pricing. I bought 6 of these to charge my Bluetti 1500 and 2400 emergency backup set-up.

Pros
  • Tested a pair out on my Bluetti and was very pleased to see 300+wh
Cons
  • Limited warranty compared to similar products

Best Value for our travel trailer

When we camp we boondock. To boondock you need batteries and solar. When we purchased a new travel trailer they were my goto since they worked well on previous trailers. Went to Revain and found they were $140 bucks and I paid $200 the last time and they were worth it so I bought three! Installed them already connected to a victron 100/30 MPPT and they keep our batteries full while in the wild. Great prices for a great product. I'll buy them again!

Pros
  • Solar & Wind Power
Cons
  • Some customers report difficulty finding replacement parts or accessories

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Its a good panel at a good price

BougeRV is a good brand. I have 2 of these 180W panels now and have them mounted on a pivoting bracket so I can at least manually track the sun. On a sunny clear day, each of the panels will pull in around 130W. Not as much as I had hoped for, but efficiency percentage is still better than my other brand of panels. These things are sturdy. The MC4 connecting cables are about 3 ft. long making it easier to reach the next panel to hook up in series. The cons: These are not packaged very well…

Pros
  • Wide Solar Applications
Cons
  • Limited availability in some areas
