Not suitable for automobiles and automotive electronics

I've tried every trick in the world, even replaced a part twice, factory reset my infotainment system and a thousand other things but it didn't budge on my 2021 Acura RDX . . The seller should not advertise "plug and play" as it is not.

Tech support couldn't get it to work

Tech support was good but email was delayed due to time zones. once connected. Wouldn't connect again. The built-in car microphone does not work. I updated the software/firmware, the result is the same. My car is a Mercedes GLE 400.

Although a little pricey, I bought this based on another review and I'm glad I did.

For my 2019 MX-5 Bovee Play2air WCP1000 it just worked where other brands didn't. So far I've used it for about 3 hours. The connection speed from the ignition to using Carplay is quite fast at around 50 seconds in my opinion. And there were no disconnects, reboots, or noticeable slowness in the connection. In general it works for me and works well.

Works in my 2019 miata ND

This is the first wireless carplay adapter that worked with my car. (Mazda MX-5 Miata 2019). Almost plug and play. A star with a fairly long delay (e.g. more than a minute or two) before switching on connects my iPhone 12 pro and the machine recognizes it as a car input. Is it worth the price of not plugging in my phone? Eh But it's cheaper than upgrading Mazda wireless factory in my car.

Perfect solution for Mercedes-Benz 2020 GLC300 with MBUX

This adapter worked perfect for wireless CarPlay connection in GLC300 with new MBUX system and USB-C port. It takes anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute to boot up when you first get in your car, but it really beats plugging in a cable every time. All functions work (trackpad, steering wheel controls and touchscreen) and the user interface is as responsive as a wired connection. Does NOT work with 2021 Mercedes GLC43 with MBUX

Contrary to one of the other reviews, I couldn't connect the Bovee Play2air to my Mercedes GLC with MBUX. I have a 2021 model so maybe Mercedes have optimized the CarPlay support in my new model year as I have found the Play2air adapter to work fine in a 2019 (non MBUX) GLC300. Maybe it will work in my car if I update the Play2air firmware, but I won't use it yet. The GLC300's boot lag is actually greater than what I need to plug an iPhone into a wired jack. So it has little use.
