Durable Actuator for VW Vehicles

According to my experience this actuator is an affordable and reliable replacement part for Volkswagen door locks. It works perfectly as described without any issue. The installation was straightforward even with minimal technical skills .The quality of the BOXI actuator is impressive. However, it lacks proper instructions for novice installers..

Failed to meet expectations

Through trial and error I found that this actuator falls short of what I needed .The installation process was confusing and even with careful attention to the instructions, it didn't work properly..

I wasn't sure if that would work.

I couldn't install this door lock myself (2000 TDI) and had to do it for myself at my local shop for $175 so it would suck if it worked but VW wanted $675 for it this job and I felt it was worth the risk. It was definitely worth the risk, but in the beginning it wasn't very fast in its work, I had to practice several times until it worked properly. I almost returned the machine to the installer before realizing it actually worked. So now I'm happy with the camper, all functions work perfectly.
