Perfect fit, replace the ends with the old ones.

Ok, that was actually a more complicated review than it should be. The fit was perfect, the thing worked great. The only reason the star was lost is that the ends are made of very weak steel. The first one I installed burst with no pressure and didn't seem tight enough. However, they are exactly the same threads and size as the OEM ones and it was easy enough to unscrew the original ends and attach them here. So 4 stars. Period.

can you be too strong

The good news is I don't rap in the head when the door sags in the cold but they are so strong that sometimes the safety switch trips and the door won't close without being strapped onto some. Also not sure if they are a bit too long? They were a little tricky to install without stripping, had to push on the door a bit to line up the studs/holes and now the door sometimes binds when the motor is overdriven a bit.

  • Lots of positive vibes

  • Almost never

On my 2006 Dodge. - Spare parts

This product installs with some difficulty as you have to hold the lid to fix everything properly according to the instructions (I use a clip and rope and tie it to the luggage rack.) It would also be nice if I knew what star size I would need to use for the installation and if the warranty was correct on the original purchase statement on Revain it said a lifetime but when I contacted the company via question they said three years, so it should be corrected . After all was said and done, when…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Very expensive

WE RECOMMEND FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS!

This is exactly what I needed. PLEASE, if you install it yourself, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! ACTUALLY. You might think your old elevators won't hold any weight. NOT CORRECT! They still support a lot if the weight. If your door is poorly supported, removing even one of those old blocks will make it fall and slam. If you are unfortunate enough to have an old pillar in your door, it will connect to the edge of the rear window and break it. Then you can also go to the store for a new rear window…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expandable

HOW TO INSTALL THE LIFTS ON A 2007 Chrysler Town & Country

Once you have them installed they work great - can't say anything about durability yet. VERY disappointing watch because the stand was about 1/4 inch longer - it was the same as the one I took off. I gave up and went to the auto shop to ask for HELP. I tried replacing them individually. Time. The body shop owner suggested I remove both pillars and see if I could raise the tailgate an additional 1/4 inch. Thats all I need. After 15 minutes they were on and working. GREASE - REMOVE BOTH STANDS…

  • Cool Product
Cons

The lift gate supports arrived quickly and were spot on.

The tailgate stays arrived quickly and were exactly what I needed for my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. After reading some reviewers' comments about removing the screws, I paid special attention to the installation. I braced the tailgate with a 2x4 board and installed the bottom end screw first, just finger tight, then used a tool to tighten it fully. I then installed the screw on the top end and had to apply some upward force to the tailgate to allow the screw to start working even just by hand…

Cons
  • Unbelievable price

These supports work. I would give this set 3/5 stars for quality. After replacing one of the added hitches, a new hitch was not enough to support the tailgate. After adding the 2nd elevator, they work very well. You will need a Torx T40 head for this job. Both OEM kits and this kit have Torx T40 screws. The BOXI screws are soft metal and I easily started to loosen one of them when installing the new bracket. While I was able to replace the first leg unaided, I had a second pair of hands holding

Cons
  • Slightly dented

My 2007 Town & Country lift door (hatch) started falling off, especially in the colder weather. Replacing the legs was not a problem using a Torx T40, an extension (for body screws only), a percussion gun and a 7ft 5/4" piece to support the sunroof in the open position. I wouldn't recommend a helper to hold the sunroof up as it's impressively heavy and a prop would be better recommended. Incidentally, the props I received were initially frozen in the open position. I have most of my 280 pounds…

Cons
  • Long delivery time
