My Del Sole required a crescent wrench and a small flat head screwdriver. Ease of installation. The hardest part was holding the trunk open with your head.

Suitable for my 96 del sol si. I ordered cheaper ones from another seller and the screws that came with them were too thin. These are correct. Installation took 5 minutes with one key.

Perfect for my 1994 Honda Del Sol VTEC. My husband said they were easy to install and now my trunk lid stays open and doesn't fall into my hands when accessing the trunk so I'm happy!

Elevators work great! Easy to install as it comes with all the hardware required. Plus, the ball joint/cups even came with a drop of lube, meaning all the tools you needed to install was just a wrench (or socket). Please note that these elevators are quite durable. They should soften over time, but expect a firm force when first installed.

As advertised they are perfect for the 1998 del Sol. And they're very stiff, so I'm not at all worried about the lid accidentally closing (which has started to happen). I expect they will loosen up over time, but they're stiff enough now that even then it wouldn't be a problem. My only caveat is that if you want to close the lid with one hand, you probably can't do that with them. You need a tow tractor rather than a crane. But if you're looking for security, it's great.
