Installation is a little tricky, it definitely takes some effort to remove one end of the strut from the car. But otherwise they worked great.

I bought it a few weeks ago. Installation was pretty easy and I saved a small fortune by doing it myself. The bonnet lifters work well and the customer service has been exceptional (I lost a screw).

Works great, easy to install. Toyota is doing the right thing. After 18 years he took out the old hood lifter supports, unscrewed 4 ball contacts of the ends of the supports from the hood. Screwed in new ball contacts fixed the lifting legs. good to go

Easy to fit on my heavy hood LX470. Make sure you use the correct support when replacing it. I installed them myself, but I work on things like this all the time. If you have a second person who can help you, use additional help.

Fits great. This is a 2 quiet environment. Allows for easy installation and removal. To switch on and off. Unlike the original. It was one piece. It's harder to remove as you have to unscrew everything. If a new one comes out. It will be easy to snap and replace.

Perfect for my 2000 lx470, good and strong lifter, very easy installation with all the parts, they were a bit thicker than the 17 year old stock parts I took off but no gap Trouble, and despite low temperatures, the hood almost lifts itself with little guidance. Not much to say here, but that should roughly cover it.
