Defect Fire hazard

Two of these little filters have worked for me for less than two months. At first they seemed good - very weak, but it was good. However, today I cleaned my aquarium and found that the filter is not working. I turned it off and noticed that it was so hot that touching it burned my fingers and the pump housing had melted. There was no debris inside, but a small fan-like piece had broken inside the device. I'm glad I noticed before it caught fire or something.

Amazing filter for a 5 gallon aquarium!

I think I've found the best filters for my Betta! I used sponge filters. But the air pumps were very noisy. So I found these 5-10 gallon clear HOBs from Revain for $10 each. While they are amazing! Very quiet, small. They don't take up as much space as you might think. Comes with a sponge to clip onto the inlet tube. I only recommend buying more sponge material as there is a lot of space in the filter where more material could be used. Ps. They can also increase or decrease the flow at the…

Wrong description video

False advertising, line in the video description that the filter has an updated version where it fits a 0.67 inch aquarium rim but I have an older 0.47 inch version . I emailed the seller asking them to send me the old version but no one replied. Another issue with the filter is the adjustment knob, it's intact but removable. Basically this poses a big problem, if the handle isn't closed tight enough it has an air hole that it won't close tight enough no matter how hard I push and twist, on the

Powerful for such a small filter

My filter in my 5G quarantine tank started making nasty noises, probably because I allowed the water level to get too low. With next day delivery, I thought Revain was the best choice. I read all the filter descriptions and chose this one based on the positive reviews. It arrived less than 24 hours after ordering. If I went to the pet store it wouldn't be so quick. I collected it, put it in a tank and connected it to the network. This filter is noiseless. It's even quieter than a soft whisper…

A decent filter for the price.

We bought a Boxtech oxygen pump with suspension filter and waterfall for our aquarium. When our old filter pump died. We were looking for a filter that would do an excellent job of keeping the water clean without endangering small fish by being sucked in if they get too close (an issue we had with the previous brand's filter). We bought this one and have been happy so far but with a few caveats. 1: It arrived unassembled and had NO instructions on how to assemble it. 2: Because it's made for a…

Wet and sad. - Filter

Well, for its size it lets through a lot of water and is great for a small (2-5 gallon) aquarium. But overall a three or four star product that gets two stars after pouring water. stuffed my whole dresser again today after about 20 days of great work. Just long enough and cheap enough, not worth the hassle of sending it back. Initially, my only two issues were that it was too loud (hum). And the way it's designed, you'll have to get creative to use anything other than a tiny replacement filter,

PLEASE DO NOT BUY! DOESN'T CLEAN WATER PROPERLY, FISH WILL BE LOST

I have a 75 gallon tank, a 10 gallon tank, a 5.5 gallon tank and a tiny tank (about 1.5 gallons capacity). I keep African cichlids. I have been keeping cichlids for 25 years. For many years I only kept males but recently introduced a pair of females. and suddenly I have a fishery on my hands. The pregnant female is kept in a louvered lid flower vase in the main tank so she can enjoy normal filtration (and a great view) without being chased or molested by males while holding her fertilized eggs.
