Just what I needed for my phone

First: Clean the dash REALLY well, let it dry, then tape the base separately and let it sit for a day or two. This thing works GREAT. With so many different sized phones on the market, it will fit many of them. Due to the heat my car experiences in the sun, the suction cup hasn't come loose yet, nor has the adhesive on the base plate, which is excellent. I also like the fact that it can be folded to keep the phone out of the way. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is that I noticed…

  • Durable finish

I did well: Car accessories

A friend recommended another brand, but there wasn't enough money, but this one looked good, so I took a chance. Have been using it regularly for a few weeks now and it works great. I've never had a suction cup, either from window glass or an adhesive base on the dash (this unit comes with a self-adhesive metal disc that attaches to the dash, which then attaches the suction cup). ). I can position the phone so that it is clearly visible and this also gives the GPS chip better satellite coverage

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Big! Less more!

Brilliant design, fits anywhere, much less than other mounts that cost twice or more and perform the same. Missing instructions can be confusing. I think the other review explains how it works, but here's what I did with the app. The holder is reminiscent of an old waffle press: the base and top plates are connected by an articulated arm. Once assembled, the top (which holds your phone) rotates up or down to customize the perfect look. The entire base is a "ribbed handle" positioned just above…

Sleek little mount, can be great.

I just received the BoxWave TinyMount. From the assembly point of view, this mount is way better than the ones I've tried from Fry's or Best Buy. The first thing that struck me is that the suction cup seems to be very flat, there is a locking mount that you rotate when you place the mount on a flat surface (like the windshield or the included flat stand adapter). I didn't need to use the stand as I already have a flat surface to use the TinyMount. At first it didn't seem like it would stick…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Legacy model

How you use it determines how you like it.

Thank you to the other reviewers for the helpful tips and to BoxWave for sending me a second sticky thing to try for free. In addition, BoxWave was also ready to respond to customer requests to start packaging instructions with TinyMounts. I gave up on having two adhesive discs stuck anywhere in my car and that was the end of my search for a preferred mounting location. If I were willing to screw the drive in (I think the punched tabs were for screws or nails) I could mount it where I really…
