Good size and small but easy to fold during use.

Love the concept, the multiple sizes in each and the ease they offer. The downside is that they easily collapse during use. I find it inefficient to hold it in place with tape or other means rather than "locking" it and using a small button when finished, a product that is small and portable. I am disappointed that the Boye product is of such poor quality due to lack of design.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No performance

Boye 4-in-1 Hook

I'm used to regular hooks, but when I walked into the doctor's office without a hook that was the right size for my project, I decided to buy it live forever in my purse. I'm not used to a big pen so it feels uncomfortable but I think the more I use it the more I'll get used to the hand. Worth a try because of the low price and four different sized hooks in a handy folding case.

Pros
  • Best in the Niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

Handy for travel but feels fragile and has a rough, blocky shape that is uncomfortable in the hand. The hooks don't lock, so they tend to close at an awkward moment. The company has been smart enough to separate commonly used sizes into two separate tools, so if you want to use common sizes, you'll have to buy both. I didn't want to risk wasting money on both. I'll keep the ones I bought and put them in my backpack for emergencies (hey, this will let me turn flimsy thread into strong cord in…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not safe
