I've bought a few and while some are better than others I can say with certainty that they should not be used for: 1) pool tubing 2) river tubing 3 ) snow tubing 4 ) Any situation where you need to deflate/re-inflate. Inflation is a huge pain (make sure you have a tape measure). They blister/stretch easily, making them uneven after a few days of use. They smell for a long time. They are inconvenient to store. Try 3 inflate yourself to about 5 feet. It wasn't good enough and the pool cover pump didn't work in the last 1 inch of rain. The water level is 2 cm below the tile. The lid did not flow to the side and sagged under the weight. Just added a fourth tube and pumped them all to a full 6ft. This makes them 15 inches thick instead of 13. That seems enough for better drainage. Pricey but it should negate the need for a pump. Clearance 6 feet from edge and between pipes. No need to tie pipes in place.
