Repurchase the headphones after 2 years to replace them :)

I used them daily at work for 2 years before I had problems with the cable to the right ear. I wouldn't say I cared much for them, but at the end of the day I rolled them up and set them up next to the headphone amp. They sound great (read: they can be cranked really loud and don't distort) and they're comfortable enough to wear for hours in front of the computer. About a year later I started hearing a very faint rattle. in one of the headphones. I removed the rubber tip and found the screen…

Surprising: I'd happily recommend them as my main set of headphones

I've only had these headphones for a short time, but the depth to which they reproduce rich surround sound (with deep but not overwhelming bass) is apparent. I have a pair of Sennheiser headphones which I think are very good but they are just as good. With all the feedback on Sennheiser copies, I didn't want to buy another set; The Brainwavz I found are just as impressive if not better! Conclusion: - One of the distinguishing features, in my opinion, is the "armoured" cable. They seem very…

Best under $100

I have a lot of low quality in-ear headphones that are not neutral. I also have a lot of high quality and great sounding audio gear. When I'm looking at something, I run it through my glove. They have retained their dignity and I will definitely leave them. Brainwavz headphones are relatively unknown in the IEM world. For me they were correct. After reading some IEM recommendations on head-fi.org I decided to buy it. They sound rather weak right out of the box. After 15 minutes they sounded…

My Pick for Best $100 Subwoofer IEM

Clay: I've been using these for over a week now and I have to say I've been impressed. The buds were slightly tinny and the bass was noticeably tight. After a 24-hour warm-up (let the music play at high volume all night), the bass is a bit loose and the highs are softer. The sound quality is very good for the price now, I would compare it to the Koss "Porta-Pro" headphones but with a much warmer sound. Probably the best sound you can get in this price range (in my opinion). Build Quality: The…

Good overall, some bass out of the box

Good headphones if you're just looking for something for work or sport. I use them every day of the week, mostly outdoors, and they haven't let me down in the last 6 months or so. Sound: The problem I found after the first 2 minutes of use is that they have too much bass. Financial support. My phone had default sound settings and I've never had this problem so I know it was headphones. Some people like a bit of bass but I found it dirty. However, this can be easily fixed by adjusting the treble

worth your money!

I love these headphones! They sound great, look great and have great build quality. I read some reviews that complained about the aluminum strain relief "tubes" unscrewing. Mine were a little loose on arrival, no big deal. I twisted them tighter and they haven't unscrewed since. Can't complain about the all aluminum construction, especially since my last pair (Beats Tours) were cheap plastic, fell apart in every possible way and were super bonded to the point of an early death. True Threaded…

Best headphones I've ever heard

I've tried all types of headphones. From cheap skull lollipops at Walmart to Bose and Dr. Dre headphones. I've done my research. I polled dozens of audiophiles, read tons of threads, reviews, rating lists, etc, and finally settled on the M2. I couldn't be happier. The M2 is the best value for money and has become my go-to pair of headphones. As a college student, they saw a lot of use and abuse. Average of 12 hours of use per day for about a year. Braided line is very thick and stiff and will…
