excellent brake lines - spares

This is my 3rd order for 3 different vintage cars. The material bends easily and flares up easily. Enough tools for the job. Shown is my '92 Jeep but I have stainless steel protection coils on the brake lines. Definitely a good buy. Jerry

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • So so

Never use a steel cord again!

Ignore the negative reviews. The perfect balance of stiffness and flexibility. The dual flare in my project is EZ with no breaks. I hooked it up to the old wire in the boat trailer frame and then routed it through like wiring. It had to go through a few holes and turns. He did it! There's no way a steel line will be that forgiving. Appreciated also the supplied fittings.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Never Use Steel Again

These slings changed your life after probably making ten sets of steel slings. They bend (NO kinks) Extremely easily. They catch fire very easily. It's almost impossible to badly light them, even if you've never done it before. Essentially, these lines turn a terrible brake line job into a much more relaxing weekend. Put stone protection on your new lines and never worry about it again.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • A Little Repair Skill

As others have said, the copper-nickel brake line is easy to install.

I bought this product because it is easy to use and meets the requirements for use (straight copper does not meet). Also, the car is from 2002 and I didn't want to put a lot of effort into that steel work. I was also planning on replacing the diff lines but figured they weren't as rusty as I thought they were. So I have 17 feet of this tube left. You must use the appropriate devices. On my car it is 10mm x 1mm threads which were not part of this article. Very happy with this material, it's very

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works well and bends easily.

Need a long tube for the bed of my truck. They haven't been sold at parts stores for a long time, but I didn't want a bunch of splices. They worked great. I bought a cheap $20 double flare tool and this tube flared slightly and closed well. I had a few tight bends and it folded easily by hand. No bending tool required. I was able to just thread it through the chassis and eliminate one of the standard connection points. I made sure this pipe was supported at every available spot on the truck…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Finally a really easy do-it-yourself brake line

Oh how many homemade brake jobs ended up being so bad and messy and ended up messy to say the least because they didn't use a tool or the right tool around that brake line manipulating to the right inputs and outputs 90 degrees and 45 degrees and different configurations all the while keeping your faithful belief that no kinks will happen and everything is almost factory made. Good luck with it . Well, this new copper-based brake line is a real boon to those mechanics and DIYers who dread that…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some mistakes
