Perfect for Zipper Club members on the road to recovery!

Bought as a gift for a friend's father who was undergoing open heart surgery and he was so grateful for the relief and comfort it gave him allowing him to live a 'normal life' without causing too much additional pain.

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • Expensive

Seems to be a good product but be warned - it has arrived.

Seems to be a good product but be aware - it was marked "The Chest Buddy" with a female flower label, it had a pink breast cancer ribbon embroidered on it and said it was"" cocoon for mastectomy and breast reconstruction sites. I bought this for an elderly gentleman with pancreatic cancer to soften the spot where his port would be. I used a black marker to fill in the tape and created a new label called Port Pillow so as not to offend him and because I didn't have time to find a replacement.

Good idea, but not great

This little buddy is what it says it is, a cushion that wraps around your seat belt to provide a cushion between it and your own seat create. It stays in place and provides extra cushioning. The best part is that it can be left on the seatbelt to await the next ride, unlike a cushion that has to be repositioned each time. I wasn't "surprised by the padding in the Chest Buddy. It's very soft, flexible, and cushioning." It looked like regular pillow foam to me and only about 1/2 inch. Great idea…

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not sure

Great design so comfortable

Very good product. Some other sites or individuals sell chest pads with seat belts, but they are a bit more puffy like a pillow. I've tried them and that large portion of the pillow shape puts a little pressure on my port and makes me uncomfortable. It's so flat and soft, I just love it. It provides comfort for my port position and easily attaches to my seat belt. My husband had shoulder surgery last year and had a plate put in. He also loves to use it! Says it just relieves the slight pressure

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • New competition arrived

Exactly what I was looking for!

I will have a pacemaker fitted in four weeks. I just got my driver's license back last week. I was so happy that I got my freedom back! However, I have found that the interface/install point is still very sensitive. Buckling up while driving was excruciating. I didn't want to drive because it was very painful. I thought about riding with ice packs, but it just doesn't work. how do i keep them cold Will they slide too much to be useful? I had to find something that would help ease the pain and…

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • Low-maintenance

I can finally drive comfortably!

In January of this year at the age of 36 I went into cardiac arrest and needed a pacemaker. I'm fairly skinny and my pacemaker was implanted over my ribs just below my collarbone. So when I drive, the seat belt causes my clothing to rub against the implant site. This scar becomes painful and tender and I find it difficult to drive because of the constant pain. I've been looking for something similar ever since and my only option was something that pulled the seat belt to the side which wasn't…

Pros
  • Finally bought it
