I bought them for ventilation, for the back of the Dana 44 everything is fine, I had to redrill the hole and add another hole to let out more air. The ones that came didn't have test balls because it was awesome for me. I didn't need checkballs.

Not sure if they are holding up well or if my kids hit them badly while riding. You lost a few. Try a little of both. Bought a few others that hold up better or guys better not hit them.

They are perfect. They shouldn't have a check valve. they replace the open hose. We used blue, red and gold. there are others for additional services. If they had a check valve I wouldn't use them. I just wanted to replace the hose on my bike for easier refueling.

This is a vent only and would be great if your cap had a built in ball valve to prevent fuel from spilling when inverted. Ideal replacement for the long breather tubes that always fall out when removing the gas cap. Nice tight fit at a great price. I have this on all ATVs now

Installed on my 2016 Drz400 with enlarged Acerbis tank. The breather didn't have a control ball, it was a solid cast aluminum with drilled holes. But it worked as it should. 1/2 mile bikes on the pavement no longer squirt gas out of the gas cap vent. Good workmanship, the hose fits exactly on the tank cap. They're inexpensive so pick your color and save the remaining 5 for good like I did.

Incorrect quality control not performed. The only functional one is silver. Black, Red, Blue, Orange and Green are missing the check valve ball. In the picture you can see the ball bearing check in silver and its absence on all others. As soon as the bike tips over to load it into my truck, gas spills everywhere. Disappointed, Vari wants them all to be the same quality as silver. A quick test if you see a ball is to deflate the hose. If you can blow it out, there's no balloon, meaning fuel will
