I wanted a small detangling comb that wouldn't take up much room in a small purse and this one is perfect for that purpose.

I have a long beard and this is great for detangling tangles without pulling or sagging. It lasts longer than the sandalwood which I prefer, but the comb itself stinks. I may have duds, but it smells like toe jam, not much.

I read in other reviews that this hairbrush is too small but I didn't really get what they meant. I wanted a small comb for my purse, but it's not the width of the comb that matters, it's the length of the teeth in the comb! This can work better with dolls than with humans. It's almost impossible to use which is a shame because the comb itself is very good and I like it, but the teeth are damn short!

As far as I can tell this is a real horn comb. The reason I bought it is because I have curly hair and bristle brushes or fine-toothed combs break curls and can create frizz. So most of the time I carry a wide-toothed plastic comb in my pocket, but over time the teeth break. So this comb is perfect for what I needed: a comb with wide teeth that doesn't break. Small but very heavy and strong. It looks very elegant and will be a wonderful gift for a person who loves minimalistic things. It's small enough to fit in my makeup bag.

There are ways to test a product to tell the difference between horn and plastic, and guess what? It's a cheap piece of plastic from China. Send back!
