Beware of this carbonate hardness additive!

This product did nothing but cloud my water and cause issues with my aquarium's pH levels. The only positive aspect was the packaging. However, its effectiveness as a water treatment for freshwater aquariums was dismal. I expected more from Pet Supplies in terms of quality control and effectiveness.

Pros
  • Increases alkalinity and stabilizes pH levels in freshwater aquariums.
Cons
  • Prolonged use of the product may lead to over-correction and cause damage to the aquatic ecosystem.

puts you back in control of water quality.

All Brightwell products are easy to use and very accurate in the measurement ratios. The issue of pH stability is no longer an issue.

Pros
  • Phosphate buffer free
Cons
  • Negative result available

Do you want to be treated like an idiot?

You think you got me and everyone who bought that $9 crap. We paid for a respectable-sounding name and a nice bottle to solve a huge and deadly problem. You give us damn baking soda! C'mon, but be aware that all available fish forums have been notified.

Pros
  • Safe for use in all freshwater communities and planted aquariums
Cons
  • Frequency
