100% HUM! - Rigid Couplings

Engine ran fine for 9 days. On day 10 it was barely revving before the engine started smoking and sparking. Not recommended. To make matters worse when trying to arrange a return/refund through Revain I kept getting an ERROR message preventing me from requesting a return.

High Torque Error

I use this motor for grinders. It works great initially and can spin the grinding mechanism easily. However, after about a month of use, the motor stopped turning the grinder. I can just stop the engine with my fingers. This happened with two 10rpm motors as I replaced the first one thinking it was a single motor issue. It's not like this.

I love the compact size!

Compact size - Yes, but worm drive is even better - when the current stops, the rotation stops. It's like having a BRAKE built in at no extra cost. I just hope these engines are still for sale. They are ideal for opening blinds or sunroofs and for lifting (medium) heavy loads. With a PWM speed controller, they keep running at low speeds. I use one to power my turntable.
