💧 Brita Grand 10-Cup Water Filter Pitcher with 1 Standard Filter, BPA-Free - Large, Black Review

This is such a pitcher upgrade for me! The last jug I had was too small. This pitcher is big, easy to use and I love the style. Also the lid over the spout, where does the water come out to fill the cup? Design innovations to write home about if you ask me. I can drink this water in a dusty room and my pitcher water stays dust free. 10/10 would buy again.

I needed something for temporary use, this product offers second day delivery but after receiving the goods I was disappointed. So cheaply made, cheap plastic and cheap quality, the 2 small pieces at the top of the hole fall off so easily, not only does the cover keep falling in the water because of the cheap workmanship, some plastic pieces, I've picked up some very bad tiny black plastic pieces from here and there . I will not buy again.

So I read the other reviews and decided to try this one because the one I've had for over 10 years fell down and broke. The lid you fill it with is really thin, poorly designed and likes to fall off. Not too impressed with the filter manager. My old one had stripes that reset when you changed filters and I knew it needed to be changed because the stripes were gone and it was blinking. Although I'm not so sure about that. It is what it is.

Quality water is preserved. My only concern is that a small piece of the jug broke off and my cat ate it. His eyesight and sense of smell are slightly impaired and I think he has mild picacism so he developed nausea and vomiting and failed the barium study. An exploratory laparotomy was performed and a fragment of the Brita pitcher was removed. He has since recovered well and is no longer eligible for pet insurance. It's a shame, because although this jug is large and easy to use, the water tastes great. The filter indicator doesn't work and I haven't had this jug even a day and there is an obvious crack right where the handle is. Our last Brita Krug (9 year old) was still going strong but looked a bit dirty (it was white plastic) and we couldn't find it to our satisfaction to clean .
