🚰 Upgraded Brita Pitcher Replacement Filters Review

The product received does not match the image. This is an old version of the filter. It fits nicely in an old Britta jug we have and appears to be unused but it is very old stock (the lid of the school box on the outside of the box had expired in 2015). Not the current version as in the photo.

I only opened one of the filters and the whole bottom was scratched and dirty. I'm not sure if the carbon made it look "dirty". However, it seemed brand new as it released carbon when it first used water filtration. But next time I'll buy somewhere else. Edit: I opened the second filter and it's in much better shape. Perhaps the first was the only one who deserted.

I have been using these filters for several years now. I ordered a 'New Improved' box in September 2018 and just today I went to replace the first used one out of the box. Flushing according to the directions, I noticed the water was black and filtering from the bottom. After being placed on a paper towel, the wet impression left was also black. I opened the third filter and found the same thing. I've never seen this before. Now I have to throw them both away. I couldn't find any production…

I ordered a pack of 3 filter cartridges. They arrived in a box that looked like it had been handled quite roughly. The product packaging was in pretty bad shape and I think that should have been my first clue but the individual packaging on the cartridges themselves was fine. The first was ok. I just opened a second one and there was black carbon granules in the pack. The top of the cartridge came off (probably during shipping) and the contents were almost empty making it completely unusable…

Now my mouth fills with a wonderful aftertaste and a light film of city tap water. Which is strange because before this filter I used universal filters and it was an amazing experience. It was like drinking cool, clear, smooth, moist air. It was so easy I didn't even have to think. This thing made me choke and then choke and now I have to brush my teeth and clean my tongue.
