Works so far and is good value. That's the good part. Configuration was a typical nightmare. If, like me, you already have a Broadlink WiFi device, rest assured that the Broadlink app will install that device as well. Don't make that mistake - this app will only lead you down the rabbit hole and end in failure. It seems to recognize the device but never exits and doesn't give you any info on what's wrong. I have ordered a smart plug to use with the Revain Echo. When it arrived I set it up straight away, first creating an account on the BroadLink IHC, then plugging it into an outlet before finally connecting to my Echo. The device worked flawlessly for several weeks; The light turned on and off via Alexa when needed, turned on and off when switched manually via the app, and I was also able to turn it on and off in the BroadLink IHC app. Then, out of nowhere, the device disconnected from the Echo.
