I had never bought a collar before and convinced myself to try it. The brown skin goes perfectly with the brown spots on my dogs. I've always bought a regular "flat" collar but I like the look of it. It is very, very durable so be prepared because this is a collar for life!

Not worth $. Weak and not well made. They actually attached some tape to it to keep the loop in place! Have you ever!? As for leather collars, I haven't found a decent one at Revane. I searched tack stores (horses) to get quality leather and production. Note: Choosing the right size dog collar is the most annoying thing I've ever done!

Our dog has a 'wool fleece' coat which means he tends to tangle as the coat grows. I was looking for rolled leather that helps avoid mats around the collar compared to "flat" leather. Unfortunately, this product is made from cheap leather and is showing signs of falling apart after only a few weeks of wear. He's wearing it longer as I can't trust him to stay safe while walking/walking on a leash. I would not recommend this product.

If your dog's neck is 11 inches long, this collar will be 1/2 inch larger. But appears to be well made, good quality D-ring and clasp. I think I'll keep this collar and maybe put a 1/2 inch smaller hole in it so my dog can't get out. My Chihuahua is 10 pounds, muscular, short necked, medium coat, needs a stand up collar. We bought one for each of our little puppies and couldn't be happier. They look good and do their job. We don't use them for anything other than a tag holder as we hook them up for walks and more so I can't comment on whether or not they choke dogs but judging by some other reviews they don't. before this task. There are many collars, but we only use this type of collar for three main reasons: (1) They are very comfortable for dogs, especially dogs with a lot of hair. (2) the subtle style keeps their hair tangle free and (3) they look and feel way better to us humans (which must mean they love it too!) for extending a dog's life , even our large Dutch Shepherd who destroyed everything we bought her still has her original collar that she bought 4 years ago. My dog had neck pain and almost bit me when I decided to take it off after 2 days. He had never felt so uncomfortable. I thought maybe he just doesn't like it. So a leather collar. Since I had to use a slider to adjust it and noticed that it's filled with fiber and not leather, I gave it to my daughter for her dog anyway. Her dog didn't like it either. This is bad design.
