More freedom - more smiles!

Plaid cord makes my boyfriend smile. Now he has more freedom than walking on a leash, and the line is light enough, he jumps over rocks and vegetation without getting caught. Now he can run, hunt and be a dog without limits. I wash the cord once a week as it gets dirty and drags on the floor and has held up great so far. Very happy with this purchase and it has enriched our lives!

It's hard not to notice the lime green!

Living in an urban environment I like to take it to places where my pup can run free but still be in control. At first the clasp was too heavy for her, but she grew. I like the wooden part for storage so I can roll it neatly between uses. Also, the color I chose keeps my grandkids (like me) from tripping over and getting tangled up in it. Great product, thanks!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

Works well with dogs

I got this product because of the spindle. Many other long rigs don't have a bearing and control spindle. The 2 things I don't like about this leash are the nylon kinks (although I think that's inevitable with leashes made of this material) and there is nothing at the end of the leash, no handle. There is only an unfinished chopped rope. It felt a bit cheap to me. They could have at least tightened it up and finished.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Something different

Very nice long leash for training

The rope is strong enough but not too thick and heavy. Some reviews complain that it doesn't have a handle, but the leash I have has a clip on one end (to grab the dog's collar) and a nice plastic clip that turns the other end of the leash into a loop that is easy to hold. I'm happy because the price was good and it does its job well. The wooden holder is used for storage and to prevent cord tangling, but is not intended for use when walking; It's much easier to just hold the cord loops in your

Beware of rope fire!

I used this to teach my 8 month old puppy to remember. At first I accidentally let him burn my hand. it was painful, but I realized that it was the problem with my abuse. I've since let it hang and stepped on myself, I really needed my dog to stop anyway. His rating was pretty good and I'm thankful for that because I won't be using this leash again. He punched my niece, my other dog, and the last time I took him to the park, he grabbed my ankle the entire 30 foot sprint, so I'm healing that…

Take care of your gums - otherwise AMAZING

We have a 7 month old puppy who has lived with us for a month now. She is very active, loves to walk, run and play with us wherever we go. My girlfriend has an adult dog and he helps her off the leash. A long lead is extremely useful when sometimes attention does not return to you. The bright color makes it easy to step on or grab, and it's tough enough to withstand great pulling forces when chasing a bird. The only problem we've had so far is when we left her in the car with her for a while…

My grandson got a new puppy

Our grandson's mother gave him a new puppy at the end of the school year. The problem is that although they have a large garden, it is not fenced. Attempting to train a new puppy with such a large open space can be challenging, especially if you don't live in the country. We don't want them to regret choosing the Dodger, but we believe the transition will be a lot smoother with the right training. Last year my sister and her family had to train a new puppy. I was able to get in touch with their

Worked well today to train my dog

Wanted to order one of these for a few months. Finally done. The rope is thinner than I expected but it works great and is very light so I can throw and swing to pull back and quickly get it in or out to exercise my dog. The color is bright and very visible. The clip is handy to move around and the wind board is a good idea, but the clip is a little difficult to get into the holding hole on it to wind it up. It also cannot be used to take the dog out, you have to unwrap the whole thing then…
