Toe Chafing: Shoes

I loved the Gts of the 20's. The toe/top of the shoe 21 is wrinkled and rubs against the toes. I've tried several pairs of 21's and they all do. Will stick with the 20's.

Total disappointment

I always wear the Adreline GTS 20, actually the most perfect shoe. The GTS21s wrinkle in the toes and rub against the toes on the sides, no matter how tight or loose the shoes are. I even tried wearing two pairs of socks so whatever they did to the insole didn't work, forcing me to buy five pairs of GTS 20s to live on for a few years. I hope they bring back the original design because 21 should be retired.

Best running show for my needs so far

This is my first pair of Brooks shoes. I have problems with Achilles tendonitis and have had problems with plantar fasciitis in the past. Sometimes I need wide shoes but these are great without the need for wide shoes. These are the most comfortable shoes I've had in a long time. Update 2 months later: The inside of the shoe near the toe seems to have started to separate and become annoying. I emailed Brooks and after sending them a photo of the damage they quickly sent me a replacement pair…

Not as good as expected

My bows are fine. I've had them for about a month now and I've given them enough K's to write a review. The shoe is good but for the money I expected more. Top, especially inferior quality. The material feels "more plastic" than my Ghost shoes. Also, the rails don't reach the top at the top, creating a "pinched" effect. Again - maybe picky, but for what I paid I expect perfection. I have no problems with the underside. They appear to be made from the same durable rubber that Brooks is known for

  • Best in niche

  • Not bad

Cozy! BUT. The front crumbles with every step. :(

Well I really wanted to love these shoes. I was especially excited that Brooks finally released white sneakers for men! Hooray! Your toes push forward, the front end snaps with a weird popping sound like it would it give way and fold in. I bought 2 pairs! I bought 13XW which go perfectly with my regular 14. It happens in both pairs! All in earlier GTS generations (I even use a couple of old GTS 18s for cutting grass) but now with the obvious popping feeling as it crumbles with every step i…
