Men's Brooks Ghost 👟 Running Shoe in Black and Grey Review

I do not check the shoes a week after receipt. I'll review them a few months later to see how they hold up. They didn't last as well as the Brooks Ghost 11 and 10 I also had. They developed a tear at the base of the toe on the outside of the shoe. Both the left and right shoes did it in the same spot. I still use my Brooks Ghost 11 and 10 for gardening and housework. The profile is almost completely gone, and yet the upper held up without tearing.

The Ghost is great for long and short distance runners looking for comfort and stability. I've run 5k pre-marathon in them for over 10 years and have never run in the best shoes.

These shoes are very comfortable for normal walking and standing, but become completely uncomfortable when I run in them on the track. It's like wearing pillows on your feet. Lots of cushions but no stability. The lack of stability leads to horrendous split tibias.

I've had these shoes since I was 8 and this is my second Ghost 12. These shoes are extremely comfortable and require no wearing time. They are true to size.

After I bought these shoes, my feet hurt a lot. Thanks for attention. They may be good for walking, but they are too soft to walk on. For me it is.

Fits like a glove right from the start. This is the first purchase of Brooks shoes and it won't be the last. My husband usually wears 8.5 inch sneakers and the Brooks 8.5 fit perfectly.

Great shoes, very comfortable. I have wide feet and it's hard for me to find comfortable shoes, but they fit perfectly and feel good even after long workouts.

Brooks needs to stand up and be a good running shoe. I paid $109 for them and after a year they were junk. Sneakers are parted on the side, the front of the toes flakes off. Definitely not made to last.

I gave them to my dad for his birthday and he loves them so much. They arrived earlier than expected and were in great/brand new condition. My dad always loved Brooks shoes because these shoes are so comfortable and affordable! Definitely recommend!

Became a Brooks fan many years ago. The shoes are lightweight, of great quality and have a cool, innovative design. Saw them on sale and ordered a pair. Very comfortable and love the color that goes with most other colors.

Very comfortable, but with brief wear (maximum 2-3 times a week) the upper strap on the toe of the shoe detaches from the sole. A very disappointing development as it's not covered by Walmart's 30-day guarantee. Never had this problem with my ASICs of 25 years. This hasn't happened with my other pair of Brooks, which I alternate with this pair.

These shoes lacked grip on wet surfaces, which made racing with water stations very difficult. Not sure why, but the balls of my feet started hurting less than a mile into the run. I only had the shoes a month before I bought anything else. The reviews were good but they didn't work for me.

Maybe I'm just unlucky enough to get a pair of lemons because I've bought these shoes twice in the past and have loved them. Best running shoes I've ever had for the price (I'll stay in the 80-120 range). And I love the color and the style. But this latest pair, which I bought a few months ago but have only worn for 3 weeks, was disappointing. The fit is fine. But the mesh in the upper is starting to wrinkle and tear, which I wasn't expecting after 3 weeks of moderate use. Also, I felt moisture

My 15 year old son just started jogging and then I bought them on the recommendation of friends - he loves them - it has made such a difference. Highly recommended

Bought them a little over a year ago. I only used them occasionally, 2-3 times a week, not for running. They started falling apart after about 8 months of very moderate use.

They feel amazing and I put them on as soon as I receive them. They fit well, are soft and my knee doesn't feel any pressure when walking. I was skeptical but I'm so glad I did and can't wait to put in all the miles in these shoes.

I use these shoes for running, I walk an average of 5 miles a day. They are very comfortable and I can walk 500 miles with two people. I am currently wearing my sixth pair of Ghost 12 shoes and have no complaints. Definitely recommend Brooks.

I was hesitant to buy something I couldn't try on and spend so much money on a pair of shoes. Wow! We are worth it! I used to only have $50 hiking boots, but I had blisters, some of the skin on my toes was chafed, and my feet were sore at the end of the day. Now I have no more blisters, no more rubbing on my toes and best of all my feet don't hurt anymore at the end of the day. I will, but only this from now on!

The sole wore out too quickly. For $120 you would expect more than 6 months of life. These newer versions use a softer outsole material and I suspect this is intentional. Look at the photos. Absolutely ridiculous. No wonder my legs hurt. Back to ASICS or NB.
