He bought several pairs of different brands and was not satisfied with them

My husband wanted a pair of shoes with a narrow back and wider toe, he bought several pairs of different brands and was not satisfied with them. These Brooks shoes are exactly what he was looking for; He is very comfortable in it, wears it all the time and gets lots of compliments. If you need shoes with a wider toe, this brand is the answer.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Not made for long distances

The Revels look good but are nowhere near as comfortable as the Ghost 10. This is to be expected as it is a cheaper shoe. I find this shoe to be better for sprints or HIIT training than long-distance runs. It is worth buying Revels at a discount. I paid about $65. If you buy new model year shoes, pay an extra $20 and get the Ghost 11.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Dull packaging

The heel cushioning is TOP! These are pretty decent shoes

I actually tried them on at the local sporting goods store where they wanted a heck of a lot more than I was willing to pay for a pair of shoes. They run a little small, so I knew I had to go up a size. The heel cushioning is TOP! Pretty decent shoes, at least for me. Of course, not all shoes are perfect for everyone, but they have convinced me so far. I'll probably buy another pair in a different color to change them out every other day or so.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some flaws

Very good shoes - shoes

My group loves these shoes, we gave him this pair for his birthday. As we get older, we tend to give up style for comfort. My husband runs every day, it's part of his job and after 15 years it's really taking its toll, but he said that this brand of shoes really helps, he hardly has any pain while walking. He's sprained his ankles a few times, let me tell you his work really does take a toll. Good job Brooks, I will continue to buy from you guys as long as you keep making good shoes!

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Negative impression

Brooks quality is worth the extra price

Brooks make a lot of nice running shoes. Specializing in people who need pronation shoes or shoes with an odd pitch. This is a neutral or regular step I am if this style suits you perfectly. They're lightweight, like many other shoes, but something about their construction doesn't make them as painful after 10 hours of standing at work. For 1/2 day off the trails, your feet won't be a wet, sweaty mess. Worth the extra money because the design spreads the load. The tread or outsole feels strong…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Protection

Fantastic sports shoes

They are great. Bought these on sale to keep when my current pair of Brooks Launch wear out (next year somewhere) and become my running and elliptical shoe. I wasn't sure if this new model would be as good as the Launch, but I decided to give it a try. It turns out they're great. Fit: I wear an 8.5 or 9 medium in dress and casual shoes. I bought them as usual with running shoes in 9.5 and they fit perfectly. The midfoot design is excellent and works like a support saddle to really protect my…

• Nearly perfect •

At 6'1" and 290 pounds, I'm the heaviest I've ever had. While I'm just getting back into healthier, better, and safer shape, over the past year or two I've been REALLY taking the time when shopping/browsing sneakers to look for the very best pairs for easier walking and knees/back. Pain, I had to read many, many reviews, read ALL the descriptions and specs, take notes and compare etc. I chose the size 12 black of these "Revels" from 6 different pairs of Brooks I had. Watch. With all the legwork

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great shoes! Shoes

I run 4.5 miles every other day. I've been using Mizuno for years but decided to switch it up and try Brooks. I will say after walking in these shoes once that they are great. I read a lot of reviews before buying them and I was a little worried about the sizing as a lot of people said they run small. I was skeptical so I decided to order my normal size and if for some reason it didn't fit I just wanted to return it and order a size up. It turned out that these shoes fit me perfectly. I don't…
