PROS: - Easy to find replacement label tape - QWERTY keyboard is comfortable, intuitive and easy to use - Various styles available CONS: - Battery always seems to die before I feel like I've actually used it that much. I ordered this to replace my older older brother but the HUGE weakness of this model is that it doesn't need a cable. These devices are notorious for using far more batteries than you paid for the label printer itself. I wanted to try this to decorate my instax mini photos. Not a bit disappointed! It's great for the $11 I paid for it ("like new"). Product received, packaging opened, ribbon cassette and fresh batteries inserted and 3 labels printed. When I pressed print on label #4, the machine turned off. Read the "Troubleshooting” section in the user manual. It details the exact problem along with recommendations for replacing the batteries with new ones and reseating the toner cartridge. I repeated both steps but the device still turned off when printing. After owning this unit for 20 minutes I repackaged it and sent it back to Revain.

I bought this on sale for ten points. Definitely not worth more! The use is quite impractical because of the small knobs. The print quality is just ok. Brother has machines of various resolutions, this is one of the cheapest but it doesn't matter as it's a commodity. Compared to older machines, there are some nice icons to decorate your labels with. The font selection is Pedestrian. However, changing the font to "BOLD" definitely changes readability. So you're really better off buying another…
