They work. We have a dining room chair that drags. I used these sticky pads and they fall off right away. They work great. They look a little odd, so aesthetically pleasing that it might not work for you, but for us it was worth avoiding the tingling we felt every time we pushed this chair away from the table.

I like that they run like slippers. They don't come loose when you move the chair like our previous plastics.
