The collar itself is well constructed, it's sturdy, good D-ring and clip. But the charging port is designed to fail long before the collar wears out. I had 5-8 charges before it stopped charging. Upon inspection there is very little solder connecting it to the circuit board, only a very small bead of hot glue holding it in place next to the battery. Guess which batteries are getting hot, which in turn heats up the glue. = failure.

This is a great collar for those of you who like to constantly charge your devices. I have 3 dogs and several different collars from two suppliers here at Revain so I have something to compare. Other collars charge for my half hour a day for about 3 weeks. I was lucky enough to get a 5 day fee for this collar. Not good. In addition, the collar did not hold the specified size - I had to constantly readjust it. I will use this collar as a spare but not for everyday use.

I ordered 3 of these collars and was delighted when I first received them. The problem is that after a little over a month, two collars are not charging via the USB cable. I shake it and the red light goes on and off. Consider trying a different brand. My original two star rating has been changed to five stars. After my initial check, the seller contacted me and replaced both non-working collars free of charge. Because I love collars and appreciate good customer service, I regret my purchase. I

Nothing came out of the empty box except the charging cable no need to worry, plug in charger and use. But the unloaded USB block socket never stood still from the start. So never been able to use QC obviously a horrible shabby box that fell apart so I'm not returning it or it's too much effort and energy but if you would like to send me another one please can I return another one I have not have. I don't have a box. I have no receipt. I don't pick things up while you go

Super bright holds charge well and won't be destroyed by outside elements. The suggestion is simply to have a small rubber plug to cover the charging socket. But overall at $$$$4.12 it's worth getting away from it for a few months. $1 per month if it lasts 4 months. UPDATE: November 17, 2019 I've charged this thing maybe 3 times. It STILL works! I bought this for my service dog because he is dark brown and you don't see him at all when we go for a walk after dark. Reflective gear didn't work for us because it often didn't have enough light to be seen beyond 10 feet. However, I couldn't justify $20-$30 for a battery-powered collar (made from tiny, hard-to-replace batteries) with only ONE mode. I LOVE this collar I bought for my little Yorkie Alex and so does he! Anyone else who sees him wearing it (whether it's on or not) also makes comments (usually good ones) about where I can get mine? (Especially after I turn it on at night to show someone!). I can only name the battery as a room for improvement. If it lasts longer I would leave it in all the time. Since I have to take it off to plug it in and charge it, I turn it on late at night when it's very dark and I can't see it very well.

9/26 Order update. The seller actually contacted me and sent a replacement for free because of the issues I was having. Hope this works! We have 2. One is perfect. Other? Not as much. The orange collar worked great the first 2 times. It then turned off the gradual dimming of the light like other LED collars we've had. Just total blackout.
