very inaccurate for thermometer

I got this thermometer for melting copper, I need a high temperature reader. Copper melts at 1800 degrees F, but when it does melt, BTMETER says it's only at 876 degrees. It is impossible for liquid copper to have a specific temperature. it's nowhere near the right temperature.

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • Not the best

DO NOT BUY! ABSOLUTELY TRASH!

I ordered this product and neither the lasers nor the reverse light worked. I ordered a replacement A and after 2 days the laser and reversing lights stopped working. I am trying to contact the company to no avail. I then contacted Revain and they were of no help and I still have to return both thermometers, losing a lot of money in the process due to downtime and lost productivity.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other picks

Easy to use and accurate

I love this thermometer! I'm really pissed that I didn't get any of these a few years ago because they make cooking so much easier! It was so ready to use that all I had to do was point to it and press a button and it would display the temperature on the screen. The display is quite large so there was no problem seeing anything on the screen and it's ideal for the elderly or those with poor eyesight. I also compared the displayed temperature to a regular thermometer and it was perfect! This is…

Pros
  • Temperature and Humidity
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Watch out for the battery problem

First I must warn anyone who is purchasing this item: DO NOT USE THE BATTERY INCLUDED. Battery doesn't work on all devices, you get very high readings, or the device restarts when you press and hold the shutter button. I would like to point out that I bought one of these in hopes of using it with my oven; However, upon arrival the thermometer was not working. I would press the trigger once to turn it on and it would turn on; As soon as I tried holding the trigger to get a reading, it would shut

Pros
  • Infrared Thermometer
Cons
  • High Price

Good: I like the circle of the lasers and how the measurement range doesn't get too big over distance. Bad things: During the recent cold weather I was able to use this to determine how close pipes and motors were to freezing but gave very inaccurate results. It turns out that the readings are useless unless the device is in a "room temperature" environment. After thinking about it for a long time, I'm still not sure whether to set C or F when setting up alarms. The upper range is technically…
