Excellent set!: Cross stitch

A beautiful set for a girl! I totally disagree with the previous comments because as a mother you need to understand what is right for your child. This is of course not good for ALL girls at 8 years old. My daughter is 10 and could have done it on her own from the start with a little help. More than enough yarn. So a great set for a relaxing pastime!

I got this for my 8 year old thinking it would be a good introduction to Cross Stitch

This item is NOT for beginners. I got this for my 8 year old and thought it would be a good introduction to cross stitch as he calls himself "My 1st Stitch". I think an adult beginner can handle it, but I'm very disappointed that it's too difficult for a beginner kid. The instructions don't help much either. Very disappointing and certainly will not boost my child's confidence in this craft.

Not for beginners

This is supposed to be for beginners but I as an adult have not figured it out. The directions were terrible. You must have cross stitch experience.
