Now I love my bucket!

I bought this to add to my 5 gallon bucket that I have a Husky tool insert in. This is a great addition, it makes a fantastic fit, I can store spare screws, pencils, super glue and other items in it for easy access. I've used it as a step stool many times with no problems and weigh just over 200 pounds, no problems at all. If you don't have one and use a tool bucket, get one and it's a game changer.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Didn't realize I needed it until NOW

This was one of the products I needed the most. I'm an electrician and I need to have a few things on hand while I work, like all of these items in this product (pictured). it's just perfect. By the way, I have serious trust issues with the lid. I feel like it can open at any time when I carry it by the handle. That's the only thing that bothers me, but I still love him.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Too weak for a 200lb person

This might fit as a seat for an average height person, but the lid is not strong enough for a much heavier person and the compartments in the lid are too small for garden tools that I wanted to keep there. You can attach a pocket knife or a handful of hardware, but there's no room for, say, medium-sized secateurs or a trowel. Not badly made, just not suitable for my purposes.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Negative impression

Great for a catch bucket

Glued this top on with a piece of styrofoam to make a catch bucket (you know dads with bad knees have to sit up to catch their daughters on softball courts) . That works great. Holds my keys, wallet and other small items. Prevents everything from falling to the bottom of the bucket. Yes, the cut-out handle makes the bucket less than waterproof, but things we store in it, extra balls, a spinner and other training aids can get wet. As long as it holds my 225 lb butt!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Hard to say

Deteriorates in sun

I've had 2 of these and they both fell out for the same reason. The plastic lid, which can be flipped up to access the contents, deteriorates with exposure to sunlight. I use my bucket to maintain drip irrigation systems. Of course I'm in the sun. When I got the second I tried harder to keep the bucket out of the sun, but it wasn't practical. The plastic cover deteriorated as quickly as the first. The seam where the lid bends when you open it also loosens over time. I'll take a different one…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some issues

Handy organizer and cover but uncomfortable fit

This replaces the original bucket lid that came with the organizer. The previous one eventually detached from the hinge and fell apart. It will surely meet the same fate at some point, but like its predecessor it will be taped together until it is no longer usable. Not sure why they call it a seat as sitting on it would accelerate the problem I just described. It's too thin for a seat. I've also found that the edges of the lid don't fit snugly in the groove on my replacement, so I have to guide

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Minor issues

Lots of features and my 500lb stock won't break it

This is a great idea, if you are new to this idea this should be your new toolbox. Add in a five-gallon bucket with good traction and that's your toolbox. it is strong. I weigh 500 pounds and this takes my weight with no problem. It's transparent, you don't even have to lift the lid to look inside the cube's holes. It's a lid that snaps open and won't fall off if knocked over. You may need two hands to remove it. There is a passage through the port so you can put small things in without…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Very convenient, but why a big hole!?

You can sit on it, you can put things in it, you can cover the bucket you put things in with the lid you put things in. It's almost perfect. But there is a problem. Does it have a blunt giant hole which I assume must be something like a handle? But it makes no sense. There are large lid lip extensions that make removing this lid from the bucket very easy. So why the big hole? To make it easier to throw things in the bucket? Maybe. In any case, you won't be able to seal anything in this bucket…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

HOW CAN SUCH SIMPLE BIG IDEA GO SO WRONG!?

IF YOU NEED WATERPROOF OR DIRT AND DUSTPROOF? THIS COVER IS NOT FOR YOUR BEHIND! WHAT DID YOU USE TO GET A BIG HOLE IN THE TOP? IT'S CALLED SEAT COVER FOR A REASON, RIGHT? GREAT WORK COVERING THE BIG USELESS HOLE IN THE PHOTOS BY SHOWING IT WITH THE LID CLOSED! COOL PEOPLE! As for the size of buttocks this thing can handle? IF YOUR BUT PRESS OVER 150 LBS? LOOKING FOR THE BEST VERSION. THANKS I HAVE THIS FOR ART AND FISHING KIDS ONLY 7 BUCKS FOR POP! CUTE FOR GIRLS BUT ANY MAN WILL USE THIS AS…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
