Inexpensive wheelset.

4 stars so far Wheels have arrived and look great. Has sealed bearings. Installed rim tape. The skewers came too. Comes with a pair of extra needles. Much lighter than my Schwinn discs. Will be updated after some use.

The rear hub did not work.

Discs look cool. I was hesitant with all the branding but the decals are easy to remove. The hubs are cool; sealed, clean and red. The front wheel works like a dream. It works perfectly. However, the rear rim did not work. The hub was compressed and almost didn't turn from sheer resistance. I found that one of the aluminum seals that you need to put in is trying to rotate when you want the bushing to rotate. I had to contact the seller for a refund after trying to fix the issue.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • Not sure

Very pretty and lightweight, but design flaws

Pros: Lightweight. Pretty. You look good. Cons: 1) The valve stem holes are an odd diameter. They are obviously designed for the Schraeder size, but they are too small to accept a Schraeder Presta adapter/sleeve (rubber or metal). Why would anyone make modern wheels with Schrader valve holes? 2) The spline housing can be removed from the hub. This isn't a disadvantage, but it is a problem for those used to old-school (Shimano) bushings with loose bearings.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

1 year test: cycling

I was surprised by the features of these inexpensive wheels: flat spokes, nipple hubs, CF hubs, 120 tooth hub with 3 pawls, quick release axle or skewer. Although I got a lot. After 6 months the spokes started to jump around so I checked the spoke tension, it was acceptable averaging 34 on the tension meter. The only thing I can think of is the cheap Chinese steel the spokes are made of, interlaced front and rear with double butted Swiss DT stainless steel and they seem to be good and I've…

Junk bikes with a printed three-pawl hub that came with damaged springs.

Garbage with fancy stickers. The three-pawl leaking bushing was not assembled correctly with the pawl under the spring, causing the spring to rub instead of the pawl engaging the splines. The spring is damaged. I'm still trying to work with the seller to get me some intact springs so I can properly assemble the item. Even properly assembled, they are cheap and of poor quality. For the same money I did a lot better. I bought them over three months ago and the seller still hasn't fixed the…

Beautiful wheelset.

I bought this wheelset along with a 26" 100 x 9 120mm Bucklos air spring fork to replace Specialized Hardrock with disc brakes. The freehub pawls are very responsive and durable. I'll check them out not sneaking up on anyone on the track. If you have a 9 speed cassette or less you will need a spacer.I have some bike parts and tried a 9 speed cassette and when I tightened the cassette lock nut it was Cassette still loose.I used the original 8 speed cassette with space and had absolutely no…
