BUD Industries AC 424 Aluminum Chassis Review

Exact size I needed. Aluminum is easier to process. I think the Bud is built a little better than the Hammond but they are both good.

Chassis is fine, but Revain recommends BUD Industries BPA-1519 Aluminum Chassis Bottom Plate as a cover for this box. The pre-drilled holes between this cover and this box do not match.

I was very pleased to find that this box was square, rigid and sealed enough (no daylight in the corners) to serve as a low profile tail light mount. police motorcycle. I should have done a rough finish before priming and painting, not just degrease, but that's not the product's fault. The price was the same as other plastic project boxes of the same size, and all I did to make them waterproof was add foam tape between the box and the lid. I'm happy with how it turned out.
