Cables easily slip out

I was disappointed with the nylon cable I purchased from this brand. Through trial and error I found that the cables easily slip out of the fitting and have caused several electrical issues... As a hesitant buyer who relies heavily on reviews, this product did not meet my expectations. While the brand offers other WELL-REVIEWED products in Tools and Home Improvement, i cannot recommend this one due to its major flaws..

Pros
  • Durable material
Cons
  • Cables easily slip out

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to its high-quality nylon material.
Cons
  • Not suitable for high-temperature environments.

Okay, but the nut is too small.

This cable gland has threads long enough to be used in a boat's center console and the change in diameter makes it easier to pass the cable through the clamps waterproof seal. The only issue I had was the thread diameter and nut size. I have good tools, but not a bit big enough to fit the threads but small enough to completely cover the nut. I had to create a bead of 3M 4200 on the flat surface of the nut to seal the connection.

Pros
  • Ambient temperature: constant range from -20°C to 65°C
Cons
  • Clear
