A solid product for beekeepers new and old, both with ease of assembly and cost, but a word of warning; the frames are surprisingly delicate and the wood of both the frames and the box itself can split easily. Assembly was quick and easy, had it all done in 30 mins tops! I love that the super and comb foundations are already wax coated. The dovetail is a nice touch.

Turned this bee box into a guitar amp speaker. Not sure if the wax coating was a good or bad thing but seems to have worked out. Either way, I didn't get stung once.

The bee hive box arrived well packed. The assembly was very easy, taking about 20 minutes to completely build. The only advice is pre-drill a starter hole for each nail to prevent splitting of end wood. The photos are of the hive upon arrival and after assembly. I will definitely buy from them again for future hives!

This is a super for a bee hive. It as easy to assemble. I took my time and used care in the assembly process to make sure to get the most value for my money. The result was a very sturdy product the really looks nice. The workmanship on the dovetail joints was exemplary

Easy to assemble, everything included. If you want to paint them be prepared to remove a fair amount of wax to get the paint to stick. Otherwise ready to go. Would buy here again.

I’d had enough of having to trim and sand recent hives I bought from M.L., so thought I’d try another brand. I’m done with struggling to trim the box so the really poorly cut pieces would even fit together, then using wood filler on the resulting gaps.Everything on this hive fit together beautifully with a little help from a rubber mallet. The holes for the provided screws are pre-drilled and there was one extra screw left over. The frames were precisely cut and easy to assemble, with 21 nails…

A tool like this was recommended in my beekeeper's group. I like it better than the standard curved handled hive too because it is easy to pry out the frames by placing the little hook end under one frame and using the next frame over for leverage. It is red so it is easy to see if you drop it in the grass, etc. Well worth the money.

I haven't yet used the J Hook on my beehives but I know several in our bee club who prefer them over the standard hive tool. I have seen them work; the J hook works great on lifting frames that are sealed down with propolis.

I was disappointed to see how much space was left in my 8 frame box after was put together. You cannot put this on your hive like this.

I ordered 2 of these boxes and there were 2 top bars for the frames missing for each box.Unable to correct the issue Very well built box.

First box had some problems so i contacted BC and they fix the problem quick A++ to deal and work withsuper happy with the 10 frame box

This deep hive body caught me for a surprise. I was very pleased with the construction and the materials used. The wax coating on the outside was an added bonus. Great product. I plan to buy more.

I purchased this box to expand my current hive and the thought of wax coating was preferable to using paint. I took a risk trying this out but don't think it paid off. Some feedback for those considering this hive:1. The wax coating is indeed heavy. So much so that there are wax drippings along the parts and it makes assembly a bit cumbersome.2. The manufacturing could be better as the cutouts don't always align perfect (see gaps in the pictures) and some of the holes seemed to not have been…

Overall nice bee box addition not to hard to put together just need a screw driver, a hammer and some wood glue. Seems very sturdy wish there was some way to clip them together we do get some strong winds but lets see how it holds up to the weather in the pocono mountans Can't wait for my bees to come in 2 weeks to see if they like there new home!
