Be careful when buying

Item arrived damaged. The Zert lube has been torn off. And in the transport package there was no package with 4 class 8 bolts and nuts.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Looked easy to install.

Very strong holder. My problem was that my pin box is closed so I would have to weld this block. One of the Class 8 screws was also missing.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Small change

#1 for easy connect and disconnect.

That's what we expected. We didn't want to plug and unplug the heavy 5th wheel plate. We also tow standard trailers and this is easy to operate with our ball already in the pickup. You can't go wrong!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Nothing

Don't Buy This!: Tow and Winch Items

If you like a pen box, don't use this adapter! The frame of my five-wheel trailer cracked. I'm going to throw this thing in the landfill because I don't want to see someone else break the frame on their SUV.

Pros
  • Highest Ratings for Support and Durability from Testers
Cons
  • Almost Everything Fine

Do not use the fifth wheel for air travel.

Do not attempt this on an air bearing fifth wheel. This puts too much strain on the system and the trailer rumbles back and forth every time it starts and stops. Must remove it for security reasons.

Pros
  • Fully adjustable with support blocks
Cons
  • Faulty

A good product. Missing L bracket for .

Good product. There was no L-shaped bracket for the trigger cable. I would give 4 stars but the dimensions of the holes you need to drill are wrong in the instructions. It is recommended to take your own measurements before drilling. Fortunately, I discovered the error before I intervened.

Pros
  • Remote release cable
Cons
  • No instructions

Robust construction.: Couplers

Take this route because all the pre-made gooseneck couplers (black and white) were present in the F250SD. Less expensive than installing a conventional fifth wheel. Pretty easy installation, the hardest part was drilling 4 holes in the panel. A quality steel drill bit and pilot hole coolant spray are a must. Works perfectly. Easily locks itself onto the ball and releases the cable. It's worth it.

Pros
  • Adjustable coupler for gooseneck adapter
Cons
  • No Automatic

Easy to install just super heavy as expected.

Very easy to install. We checked several times and it remained airtight. We have transported a caravan several times without any problems. It's supposed to have a pad inside, but the trailer can twitch at lower speeds on bad roads. When installing, we put it on a mule and lowered the trailer onto the adapter. This way you don't have to carry heavy weights. It's easier to keep things clear.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Damaged
