Bulk Buy Bernat Softee 161129 29632 Review

I learned to knit a few years ago but was told crochet was easier. I bought this for a project with a newly learned stitch. It's fun and bright. I haven't finished the project yet, but I'm very happy with the result so far. Due to the nature of the stitch and my inexperience, I had to re-order twice. So far every strand has been as good as the first. Hooray for yarn!

I liked the yarn a little when I first saw it. However, when I started building the walls in my small (crocheted) basket, I noticed that it was a bit flexible. On closer inspection, the description says at one point that it is a weight class 5. Elsewhere it says that it is a weight class 6. The label on the yarn confirms that it is a weight class 6. These 3 packs of yarn offer excellent value for money. When I opened the packaging of "Stillness" in the chosen color, I was a bit disappointed. While the color variation was nice, the yarn itself was flat and stiff. Not at all the "softee chunky" he bragged about. I liked the colors so I decided to add "Natural" which I bought at regular price. It was very soft and thick.
