Good quality, with calibration certificate.

Although I have not had the opportunity to use a torque wrench, I have been very impressed with the build quality. This model has a longer range than most and doesn't fit all of my bikes it was designed for. It came with a certificate showing the calibration accuracy was less than 2%. Note that this type of tool requires yearly calibration and there aren't many places that do it. I expect it will cost about as much as replacing a device after shipping or a trip to find such a service. It's…

Not exactly high quality. on Power & Hand Tools

I bought a Prime and decided on a mid-range torque wrench because I have a job that requires a wrench. Haven't used it yet and am sure it will do the whole house job and an oil filter or two in the future. But it just doesn't have that professional feel. Just came in a thin walled black plastic case that wasn't sealed properly, in a 3x bigger box with a piece of brown paper that didn't do anything. The case itself, not soldered. I'm pretty sure it's someone else back. It looks like it has been…

Not as good as their smaller 1/4 torque wrench

First I bought a Bull Tools 1/4 torque wrench for lower torque. That works great. When I needed something for higher torque, I went back to Bull Tools. Mistake. Two common problems with this wrench: 1. The shank of the wrench has scales for Nm and lb-ft, but there is only one scale on the handle (instead of one for Nm and one for lb-ft). The scale on the knob only aligns with the lb-ft scale on the shaft, it doesn't align properly with the Nm side. So you need to convert everything to lb-ft to…

Works well with power tools and hand tools

Edit: I'm an idiot. I was expecting it to click like a socket wrench a few times. The click/tear is barely noticeable - not much movement. Tech support suggested checking a higher setting, which I did, and now I know what the gap feels like and what to look for when reaching the advertised torque. Torque to the lowest setting (10 ft-lb) just to watch it "free up" when too much torque is applied. But as I pressed harder and harder, nothing happened. To make sure I wasn't crazy (or weak), I took…
