Missing letters in action

Great looking clutch cover - until the red 'C' dropped in the driveway. I glued it back on, but on a recent trip the 'G' and 'M' were missing. Damn. Anyone know how to replace letters? I think I'll try coloring it.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Looks good GMC good for outdoor accessories

I like the weight and feel of the oval GMC chrome logo. Good size and quality feel. However, the part of the receiver that it bolts to is made of very heavy plastic, not metal. Like I said, it's worth the price. I can recommend GMC to every driver.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Red writing fell out

When the hitch cover arrived we were thrilled. Our only concern at the time was whether the plastic part that goes into the drawbar would break. Well, 6 months after purchase, the plastic is fine. However, the red coating inside the "G" has disappeared. Must have fallen off. Of course it's too late to go back. Maybe Revane can send us a replacement?

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Only available in black

nice to feel Good weight

Nice feeling. good weight good size The kit includes rubber pads/bumpers to ensure a good fit. I assembled and installed (while my husband watched!). And I love the look. Perfectly complements my terrain Denali detail. I've had several car washes and it still looks great. The photo doesn't show the shiny finish very well, but it has a nice shiny chrome finish. Love me.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Great trailer cover.

This is a heavy duty clutch cover. The plastic insert is screwed to the metal cover, which is a much better design than the glued ones I've bought before. The clutch cover has a useful foam pad that serves two purposes. It prevents the lid from moving and vibrating and making noise. It also helps seal some dirt and salt from the receiver hitch. The design is simple but bold and adds a nice touch to the rear of the truck.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • boring packaging

Plug that hole for external accessories

It has a beautiful chrome finish and comes with 2" and 1.5" square tube adapters, adds a little sparkle to a boring hitch hole. I suggest using a bolt and not holding it. Because of the quick release pins, it is too easy to steal. **UPDATE** It looked fine for a few months then I went and saw the red paint on the "C" was gone, the GM part was still there but I ran my finger about losing those letters, my fingernail ripped off the remaining letters like flakes, all chrome now and not red…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Very expensive

Overall happy with the hitch accessory

I was expecting it to have a 2" square tube bore. Actually, it can fit 2" and 1.25" hitch. It is available in two sizes and in two parts. for any size. They meet flush and screw into the back of the clutch cover. It also comes with a square piece of foam pre-cut into a 2" piece, a 1.25" piece and a smaller cross piece. The instructions given have no idea what to do with it. I decided they should be placed over the pipe to cushion the coupling. I used a 2" piece of styrofoam and pressed it…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Damaged
