I give 4 stars because it wasn't easy to get two screws and I was always afraid it would break. Not that I would call it sturdy, but very good for the truck.

Looks good and works well The only problem I had was that it didn't slide into the coupler far enough to insert the pin because it was on the Bumper cracked so I gave him a flat fill the head with silicone and painted a little, now it's all done.

I really like the product. looks really good on the bed of my truck. The red LED lights just need to be brighter to blend in and look more like an accent brake light. The only other thing is probably replacing the plastic back with a cheap metal back or something better than the plastic that's out there. . I've seen some bad reviews about it but one has been in my truck for over 10 years with no problems. I got this to mount on another truck that I drive daily. Some say it is unsustainable. It's plastic and a display piece only. When you slow down. It's probably something you did. Simply screw on an appropriately sized receiver. Just tighten the screws. Plug in, plug in and enjoy.

This item is easy to assemble and comes with two sets of brackets for mounting different size receivers. I have class IV so I used big ones. Great item. Robust construction and locking for assembly and installation. Does exactly what it says. Only 1 thing I think is wrong. It looks like there should be a back plate covering the electronics. There's a tiny protrusion and accessible screw holes that look like there should be a plate there.
