Much better than using a nut and bolt

No problems yet. We've been using this for a few months and it has made getting the trailer on and off a lot easier than fiddling with a bolt and nut.

Pros
  • Burley part number 4118800.
Cons
  • Almost OK

Great item for any Burley owner

This is a great item for any Burley owner. This is a much simpler bolt-on solution and is easy to insert and makes it very easy to take the Burley apart for travel or storage.

Pros
  • Locking pin for connecting hitches or hitch receivers
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Very easy to use.: Child seats and cargo trailers

Works as expected. My wife and I use it to hitch a bike stroller for our son. The wire that runs around the pen even extends a little beyond the pen making it very easy to use and remove which is great if you plan to take it off regularly.

Pros
  • Burley part number 4118800.
Cons
  • weak

Cheaply made and overpriced. Typical Burley.

If you make the mistake of buying a Burley tag, do yourself a favor and purchase a non-Burley replacement pin at your local hardware store. Today, Burley uses cheaper and inferior materials for its products, but prices continue to skyrocket. Felt pretty silly paying that price for what we could buy on the street for 1/6th the price and better quality. At this point we really can't recommend ANY Burley products. As a company, they have definitely "jumped the shark" at this point.

Pros
  • Double wire lock
Cons
  • Upgradeable
