Burton Burke Hood True Black Outdoor Recreation Review

This hood is amazing! It fits my helmet perfectly and keeps me warm. It's very soft and breathable and doesn't help my breath fog up my glasses because it has a lot of room.

Looking forward to using it this season! It fits my helmet perfectly and has laces to make it a little tighter if needed! The quality is really good and comfortable! I recommend!

My helmet fits snugly (L so I have a big head) and even small leggings or a thin balaclava give me enough headaches to prepare . It fits right on top of my helmet with easy goggle access and face cap flips up. I wore it in 8*F and windy and it held up great. I'll use it whenever it's cold enough.

Love it! It's warm and acts like a mask while I'm outside. When I take it off my head it looks like a scarf. The only thing to note is that they don't let the wind through. So when you're outside you need something underneath to keep your ears warm. It's expected to be fleece but thought it was worth mentioning.

You know those hiking towels that feel like fleece but absorb water? I think this hood is made of the same material. After a day snowboarding in snowy weather, my son's Burton hood froze like an icicle and one day there was an incredible amount of water in the warm car. It was still damp after the morning rinse and wring at home, and we live in Colorado where everything dries overnight. Great hood! So glad I bought it. I was looking for a hooded balaclava that would fit over a knitted baseball cap, much like the hood of a hooded sweatshirt. This would allow me to ditch the sweatshirt as a layer. That works great. Fits well and roomy. I didn't give it 5 stars because the part that covers the face is a little loose and it would be great to be able to tighten it optionally.
