I was looking for a page file to replace two metal two drawer cabinets. This one is beautiful, durable and inexpensive. My home office doesn't have a lot of space so I love that this looks like furniture but without a very wide table top; everything is arranged clearly and space-savingly. Screws attaching faceplates to drawers are too short to hold them. (Instructions for Step 12) So plan a trip to the Big Box store to buy something that works. The screws included and required in the instructions in step 12 are 8" x 3/4". However, the file drawer uses 1/2" particle board and is approximately 1/8" or 3/16" from the front edge of the drawer sides (all with pre-drilled holes). . 2 drawer filing cabinet and a 2 door cabinet with a bottom filing drawer, I'm happy with them so far. I think most of the complaints stem from poor construction techniques - I haven't had any issues other than pain in my hand from driving tons of screws into these devices. Here are my suggestions that explain/solve the discomfort: 1. Use a medium sized screwdriver, the largest of which fits the screw so as not to cut off the head.2. Make sure the screw goes DIRECTLY into the pre-drilled hole.
