Excellent product, you can't get any cheaper. The shifter now works like new. Revane said the 2013 Jetta didn't fit me, but it fit perfectly.

Good replacement for broken connection. It is better designed than it looks in the picture. It fits my 2016 VW Jetta (the Revain parts search said it didn't). Looks like VW doesn't make this part and otherwise you have to buy the whole cable to fix it.

My shifter bushing was worn out after 150,000 miles. The VW dealer does not sell the socket as a single piece, but wants to sell the entire shift cable. I am 100% satisfied with this product. I was concerned that only one socket would be offered for the VW Jetta. In most cases the correct parts for my MKIV Jetta have to match the engine/transmission/equipment level exactly. I called the company direct and my voicemail was quickly answered by a very polite and helpful representative who reassured me that this socket would fit my vehicle. It knocked me out and my car is back on the road.

No matter how I tried to insert the bushing into the shift rod connector hole, it wouldn't go through. I was able to get 3 sides for the hub but the hub lip diameter was 2.
